DICE Reveals Battlefield 1’s Future Four Expansions

DICE Reveals Battlefield 1’s Future Four Expansions

DICE has already released quite a lot of details on Battlefield 1’s upcoming DLC, ‘They shall not pass’. Now, they are back again to let us know more on three other expansions. I’ve briefed up on each of them below.

First Expansion : They shall not pass

This DLC introduces the French army at World War 1, four French maps to battle at and also brings in the mamoth of a tank called the Char 2C. If you haven’t read my previous posts on this DLC, you can do that right here.

Second Expansion : Name Of The Tsar

If the first one introduces the French army, the second one introduces the Russian army. You will handle the Russians and take part in the historic Brusilov offensive and Albion assault.

Third Expansion : Turning Tides

The third expansion shifts the focus to the ocean with naval battles. You will take command of a destroyer and a coastal class airships, while taking part in the Zeebrugge raid, and storm the beaches of Gallipoli.

Fourth Expansion : Apocalypse

Finally, we have the Apocalypse DLC and it’ll include the most infamous battles of World War 1. As the name suggests, players will get access to brutal tools and unique weapons born out of desperation and deadlock during the war. This gives the players a chance to go experience split second decisions and reactions to certain situations, along with the gore and blood, giving an outlook of hell.

With that being said, Premium pass holders will receive all four expansions, including two weeks of early access, priority server access, and 14 superior-level battlepacks full of in-game cosmetic unlocks.

Grab your gears and get ready, fellas! We are up for one hell of a showdown.

A Rumor On The Next Assassin’s Creed Game

A Rumor On The Next Assassin’s Creed Game

Did you know that the next Assassin’s Creed movie is rumored to be subtitled as, ‘Empire’? Well, am not sure about that either. But, recently there has been a screenshot from the yet unreleased game, lurking about in the internet.

The image was originally posted in reddit claiming to be a leaked image from Assassin’s Creed Empire, which had zero upvotes and a lot of comments demanding the source. The screenshot features a lightly armored, heavily armed figure standing in front of an open stone doorway. Unfortunately, the image is of low quality, just like an image that surfaces up time and time again claiming that an UFO has been spotted.

There are some symbols that can be recognized from the image. An icon can be found at the top of the enterance that is similar to the symbols used for area transitions in Assassin’s Creed. The next one is the inscription on the shield. Apart from that the protagonist’s costume looks like he is from the parts of Greece. From my perspective, he looks more of a warrior than an assassin.

This rumor is best left ignored, if you ask me. However, you can comment in your thoughts and opinions on this, if you figure out something.

Death Stranding Easter Egg Found In Horizon Zero Dawn

Death Stranding Easter Egg Found In Horizon Zero Dawn

About a week ago, a video was released by Guerrilla Games, where the developers did a briefing on Horizon Zero Dawn. Soon after that, to peak the curiosity, anticipation and of course for marketing and sales purposes, four new videos were presented by Sony. They showcased the gameplay, combat and the official launch trailer. You can view those videos here.

With Horizon Zero Dawn launching today, there is more news to the game than just those videos you saw before. While you explore the post-apocalyptic world, you will come across items that you can trade with merchants. However, there are a couple of items that might say more than how they look.

When you take a look at these icons, they feature a striking resemblance to the Kojima Productions logo.

Apart from that, the names of these two items are Stranded Figures and Stranded Shackles, which would sound familiar to you. Yes, that’s right. It sounds similar to Death Stranding.

There might be other easter eggs hidden in Horizon Zero Dawn. We just need to play the game and explore its world to discover them.

You Can Now Buy Games On Twitch

You Can Now Buy Games On Twitch

We all know that Twitch is a service that gamers use for streaming. When it was thought, that streaming was the only option in the platform, Twitch turned the tables and announced that it will allow viewers to purchase games directly from streamers’ pages starting spring 2017.

When you have bought your game, it can be launched through Twitch’s own desktop program, or through publisher-led applications such as Ubisoft’s Uplay. After this process, the consumers will be rewarded with Twitch crates which may include random items such as exclusive emotes, chat badges, and so on.

And that’s not all, if you buy games from a streamer you partnered with, that person will get a 5% cut from the sales and the developer receives 70%. Publishers already signed up to the scheme include Ubisoft, Telltale Games, Paradox Interactive, Hi-Rez Studios, and more.

Amazon is trying to monetize Twitch through a number of ways and this is one of them.

Details You Need To Know About Middle Earth:Shadow of War

Yesterday, there was a leak about a sequel to the game Middle Earth:Shadow of Mordor. The sequel was titled, Middle Earth:Shadow of War. Though, the title isn’t official yet, Warner Bros confirmed that the sequel will happen.

Here is the official game plot description:

In Middle-earth: Shadow of War, players wield a new Ring of Power and confront the deadliest of enemies, including Sauron and his Nazgul, in a monumental battle for Middle-earth. The open-world action-adventure game is brought to life through the expansion of the award-winning Nemesis System. The robust personalization from the first game is now applied to the entire world where the environments and characters are all shaped by player actions and decisions, creating a personal world unique to every gameplay experience.

Shadow of war will have Talion and Celebrimbor going behind enemy lines to forge an army and turn all of Mordor against the Dark Lord, Sauron.

The game is being developed by Monolith Productions. Its VP Michael de Plater said, that after the massive reception of Shadow of Mordor, the team decided to expand every dimension of the game including the story, RPG system, core gameplay and personal storylines of each character.

Dark Souls II’s Return To Drangelic Event Is Underway

Dark Souls II’s Return To Drangelic Event Is Underway

Dark Souls 2 released two years back, but its community feels that the players wouldn’t have exprienced the rush of online multiplayer gaming, at the time of its launch. Hence, an event, ‘Return To Drangelic’ has been hosted by the community and will continue through the week, to reinstate the feel of playing the game with active servers.

Participating in this event takes only a few small steps. Create a character in Dark Souls 2 and connect to the online servers. Proceed with playing the co-op or PvsP. However, to get the make the most of this event, Dark Souls community has recommended a few tips.

The Name Engraved Ring item becomes a piece of importance, as it would match a player more frequently with other Dark Souls 2 players, who are specifically participating in this event. It also increases the ‘Soul Memory’ range for co-op, allowing to match with players in a wider range than normal.

It certainly is a good way to relive those ‘memories’ in a multiplayer environment.

Blizzard Teases An Overwatch Character, Yet Again

Blizzard Teases An Overwatch Character, Yet Again

A few days back, I was talking about how often, Blizzard kept teasing the arrival of a new character to Overwatch. It has happened yet again.

Last time, the focus was on a young girl scientist, Efi Oladele, who was thought to be the next character in Overwatch. You can read the full story here. This time, Blizzard teased by updating the public test version of the game. The tease was spotted after the Numbani map underwent some changes.

The map had two significant changes. The first change is in the spawn room for the attacking team. There, you can see the aftermath of the attack. Take a look at the first 3 pictures below.

In another part of the map, you will find changes in the payload cart. The glass containing Doomfist’s gauntlet has been smashed open and nothing is left inside of it. Check the last three images above.

Hence, as you would have guess by now, the speculation goes that Doomfist might be the next Overwatch character. During the summit, Jeff Kaplan went on to say, “It is not who you think it is”.

Assumptions remain as plain theories and only time can transform them to facts.
